    Vintage original 7 x 9 in. US single-weight glossy photograph from the 1980s immigrant-themed made-for-television drama,
    ELLIS ISLAND
    , originally broadcast in November 1984, which reveals the lives and struggles of some of the countless immigrants who arrived on Ellis Island during the 19th century in search of the American Dream.
    The image depicts an interior shot of Russian immigrant turned Tin Pan Alley songwriter Jacob Rubinstein (Peter Riegert) with his wife, Violet (Emma Samms), and their daughter (Sarah Peterson). This photograph comes from a newspaper archive and features two small marks in the borders. Affixed to the bottom of the verso is the original paper snipe that folds over to the front and describes the image. It is in fine+ condition as shown.
