    Vintage original 7 x 9 in. US single-weight glossy photograph from the 1980s immigrant-themed made-for-television drama,
    ELLIS ISLAND
    , originally broadcast in November 1984, which reveals the lives and struggles of some of the countless immigrants who arrived on Ellis Island during the 19th century in search of the American Dream.
    The image depicts a close exterior shot of wealthy and powerful
    US Senator Phipps Ogden (Richard Burton) with his moody daughter, V
    anessa (Kate Burton), on her wedding day. This photograph was used for publication in a newspaper and features two small grease pencil marks in the bottom border. Affixed to the bottom of the verso is the original paper snipe, which describes the image, that folds over to the front. It is in very fine- condition as shown.
