    Vintage original 7 x 9 in. US single-weight glossy photograph from the 1980s immigrant-themed made-for-television drama,
    ELLIS ISLAND
    , originally broadcast in November 1984, which reveals the lives and struggles of some of the countless immigrants who arrived on Ellis Island during the 19th century in search of the American Dream.
    The image depicts an exterior shot of wealthy and powerful
    US Senator Phipps Ogden (Richard Burton) with his moody daughter, V
    anessa (Kate Burton), on her wedding day. Affixed to the bottom of the verso (which has subsequently come loose) is the original paper snipe, which describes the image, that folds over to the front. It is in very fine condition as shown.
