    Vintage original 7 x 9 in. US single-weight glossy photograph from the 1980s immigrant-themed made-for-television drama,
    ELLIS ISLAND
    , originally broadcast in November 1984, which reveals the lives and struggles of some of the countless immigrants who arrived on Ellis Island during the 19th century in search of the American Dream.
    The image depicts an interior shot of two European immigrants (Peter Riegert and Greg Martyn) who are processed through the Great Hall at Ellis Island in 1907, en-route to a new life in America. Affixed to the bottom of the verso (which has subsequently come loose) is the original paper snipe that folds over to the front and describes the image. It is in very fine condition as shown.
