    Description

    Up for auction is a gorgeous antique Boston and Sandwich (not positive of maker) Peacock Eye Flint Glass Bowl.  This is circa 1839-40's.  The date has been authenticated by an expert.  This bowl measures 10 1/2" in diameter and stands 2 3/8" tall.  It weighs 4 lbs. 2 ozs.  I do not find any conditions to report.  I believe this is a berry bowl and it would have had matching sauce bowls.  It is quite awesome for its age.
